DMV & DOT Unveil EZ Haul System

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles partners with the Virginia Department of Transportation for a new system for permitting oversize/overweight loads to travel the Commonwealth’s roads. EZ Haul replaces the previous system for obtaining hauling permits which are documents for planning and authorizing movement of overweight and/oroversize vehicles including travel regulations and safety requirements. The DMV and DOT worked with ProMiles Software Development Corporation to develop the new system.
