Delays Coming To Norris Bridge Traffic

Plan for delays crossing the Robert O. Norris bridge later this month. The DOT is conducting a 6-week long project starting Sept. 12 which will reduce traffic to a single lane weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. All lanes will be open on the weekends. Then on Sept. 19, crews will start a required biennial inspection of the entire bridge. DOT officials say the completion date for that project is weather-dependent.
