Compass Academy Offers Community Garden

Compass Academy, part of Middlesex High School, has unveiled a new community garden initiative aimed at promoting hands-on learning and healthy eating. Students from grades 10 to 12 collaborated with 4-H educators to cultivate a variety of vegetables and herbs, with spinach and herbs already available for picking. Supported by the Middlesex County Kiwanis Club, the garden also aims to provide fresh produce like squash, tomatoes, and peppers in the near future. Open to the public from dawn to dusk, the garden is located near Cooks Corner, alongside new outdoor amenities including basketball courts and a skate park.
