Colonial Beach Considers Implementing Toters

The Colonial Beach Town Council is considering a Department of Public Works proposal to implement the use of uniform trash cans also known as toters as a way to both address increasing costs and make things safer for department staff. News on the Neck reports the proposal calls for residents paying $10 per month and $15 a month for businesses. Currently there is no separate trash fee.
