Bank VP Retiring: John O’Shaughnessy Joined Chesapeake Bank In 1997

Tomorrow marks the retirement of a true friend of the Northern Neck – John O’Shaughnessy, Executive Vice President at Chesapeake Bank. John joined Chesapeake Bank in 1997. He led significant growth since then, contributing to a 900% profit increase. Jeff Szyperski, the bank’s CEO, highlighted O’Shaughnessy’s leadership and community commitment, including his roles on scores of local and regional boards – as a founding member of the Northern Neck YMCA, board member of the Rappahannock General Hospital Foundation, and Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury among many others. Hurst Kelley, VP Commercial Loan Officer at Chesapeake Bank , will take over John’s role as Regional Executive. Our congratulations and best wishes to John O’Shaughnessy.
