A donation from the Flat Tones band of $1,500 will go toward helping to preserve the Deltaville Maritime Museum’s buyboat, The F.D. Crockett. It will be added to the ongoing effort to raise $100,000 to keep the museum’s prize flagship vessel, which is already 100 years old, on the water and going for another 100 years. American Society of Marine Artists’ John Barber is also assisting by donating a new F.D. Crockett oil on canvas, which is being raffled for the endowment. Tickets are on sale now, even though the Deltaville Maritime Museum is closed, at Nauti Nell’s store in Deltaville until the museum reopens February 1st.
