AMA Awards Lancaster County Emergency Services

The American Heart Association gave Lancaster County Emergency Services its “Mission: Lifeline® EMS Silver Plus Achievement Award” for implementing specific quality improvement measures to treat patients who suffer severe heart attacks. Services chief Matthew Smith tells the Rappahannock Record they are honored to be recognized by the American Heart Association for the third time for their dedication to providing optimal care for patients. The Plus designation is for meeting quality improvement standards when treating patients suffering from a stroke, chest pain and cardiac arrest.
