4 In 10 Urbanna Properties Owned By Non-Residents

A study conducted by the Town of Urbanna finds 40% of real estate is owned by non-residents. According to the Southside Sentinel the data was compiled by Town Treasurer Michelle Hutton and was presented to the Town Council earlier this month. Hutton says 17% of Urbanna’s properties are full time rentals and that does not include rentals through services like AirBNB. The total value of Urbanna real estate is $106 million.
