2 Arrested At Tappahannock Family Dollar

There was some turmoil at the Tappahannock Family Dollar store on Wednesday when 2 people involved in a police pursuit got out of their can and ran inside. According to the Essex County Sheriff’s Office deputies were trying to stop a SUV when the driver pulled into the parking lot. The driver and passenger were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. A vehicle search resulted in the seizure of drugs and stolen items.
