    As of early this week, 165 prop­er­ties have com­mit­ted to cen­tral water in Deltaville accord­ing to the Mid­dle­sex Water Author­ity. On July 20, Stove Point Improve­ment Asso­ci­a­tion added another 61 signed con­tracts, bring­ing the total so far there to 65 prop­er­ties, or about 90% of the prop­erty on Stove Point that have so far, signed up for cen­tral water.

    Gov. Terry McAu­li­ffe has asked Vir­ginia State Police to increase patrols around mil­i­tary recruit­ing cen­ters. The request by the gov­er­nor comes after the attacks last week on two mil­i­tary facil­i­ties in Chat­tanooga, Ten­nessee.
