    WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. (AP) – NASA has launched a rocket for the Department of Defense from its Wallops Island Flight Facility in Virginia. The space agency says the Terrier-Lynx suborbital rocket was launched at 12:27 a.m. Sunday. The next scheduled launch from Wallops will be Orbital Sciences’ Antares rocket on Oct. 24.
