A Farnham woman was in Northumberland County Court, where she was handed a 12-month jail sentence with 11 months suspended for her conviction on charges of assault and battery involving a student at Northumberland High School. Heather Lynn Sebra was arrested last August after an altercation she and two students were involved in, that was recorded on video by some other students, and then posted on social media.
Sebra pled no contest to the charges that were filed against her, and accepted full responsibility for her actions. Sebra was sentenced to serve one month in jail, to be served on the weekends beginning today. The judge also ordered her to be controlled by community-based probation and to take an anger management course.
